Gardere Initiative is a safe place that nurtures educational and personal growth for children and their families to create holistic community wellness.
OUR IMPACT
Since 2006, the Gardere Initiative has served 1,000+ families annually, offering essential resources and programs like education and job training.
Building strong minds
We provide tutoring, summer programs, and mentorship to support academic growth. We focus on social-emotional learning to help children manage stress and build resilience. Through partnerships with schools and community organizations, we provide resources that help children and families succeed both academically and emotionally, creating a strong foundation for lifelong success.
Collaboration one day at a time
Through spiritual intervention, local partnerships and selfless volunteering, we touch the lives of many individuals that strive for the same opportunities, as surrounding Baton Rouge areas, to learn, to grow and to succeed.
